Social commitment

The practice of law is also a form of social responsibility

At RRQB, we dedicate time, judgment, and legal experience to pro bono projects and community initiatives. We believe the practice of law can create value beyond the business environment by helping structure efforts that serve a broader social purpose.

We support initiatives that require legal guidance, institutional order, and a responsible perspective to move forward with greater clarity.
Our vision

Law as a Tool for Social Impact

We believe legal knowledge creates value when it helps resolve problems, bring order, and define a clear path forward. That is why we participate in pro bono projects where our experience can help strengthen social initiatives, organizations, communities, and projects that require legal support.

We approach this work with the same detail that we bring to every matter handled by the firm: understanding the context, identifying risks, and providing a clear course of action. This commitment is also part of our internal culture. It allows us to practice law with a sense of responsibility, strengthen collaboration across teams, and remember that the law does not only protect businesses. It can also serve people, institutions, and causes with meaningful impact.

A responsible, proportional and well-structured practice

We focus our support where legal guidance can make a meaningful difference.

RRQB participates in selected initiatives where the firm can contribute structure, legal judgment, and practical support. Each project is handled with order, confidentiality, and respect for the institutions and people involved.

Legal criteria applied with responsibility

We analyze each project from its real context, avoiding generic answers and ensuring that the support is of practical use.

Institutional collaboration

We work seriously with organizations, allies and teams that promote social or community causes.

Impact beyond the office

We believe that the law can also contribute to strengthening communities, protecting initiatives and giving structure to projects with a social purpose.
Current Projects

Initiatives in which we participate

RRQB currently participates in pro bono projects that reflect our commitment to using legal experience in support of initiatives with social and community impact.

Fortaelle

On a pro bono basis, we accompany Fortaelle, a law firm of psychologists in Monterrey, on matters where legal judgment can help strengthen its structure and operation.

Pro Bono Support Network | UNHCR Monterrey 2026

RRQB is participating in the pro bono support network project linked to UNHCR Monterrey 2026, an initiative led by Holland & Knight.

Our participation seeks to add legal capacity to a collective effort aimed at supporting causes related to refugees.

Our role goes beyond resolving legal matters. We provide clarity, structure, and support to those responsible for making decisions.

A civil or commercial dispute cannot be understood from the case file alone. It requires understanding the business behind it to define the procedural path that best protects the company’s interests.

For RRQB, pro bono work consists of allocating time, judgment and legal experience to projects or initiatives that require legal support and have a relevant social, community or institutional component.

2. Does RRQB respond to any pro bono request?

Not necessarily. Each request must be reviewed individually to assess its context, scope, legal matter, available capacity and compatibility with the firm's internal criteria.

3. What types of projects can be considered?

We can evaluate social, community, institutional or support initiatives for organizations that require legal guidance, legal structure or support on specific issues.

4. Does pro bono support involve full legal representation?

Not in all cases. The scope depends on each project. It can include guidance, review, analysis, documentation or specific support, always in accordance with the firm's capacity and criteria.

5. How do you define if a project can receive pro bono support?

We first review the nature of the project, the legal need, the potential risks, the impact of the initiative, and the availability of the right team to serve it responsibly.

6. Does pro bono work have any cost?

Legal support approved as pro bono does not generate professional fees. However, there may be external expenses, procedures, rights or third-party costs that should be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. How can I submit an application?

You can contact RRQB through the form on the site, briefly explaining the organization or initiative, the legal need, the context of the project and the type of support required.

8. Does RRQB guarantee to accept all requests?

No. The firm reviews each case seriously, but the receipt of a request does not imply automatic acceptance or the beginning of a professional relationship.
